As the mixer is a sealed mixing equipment for the materials prepared by the ingredients. So the leakage in mixing will directly reduce the mixing uniformity. Change the formula of the feed, so the leakage problem is a big problem of the mixer. However, due to the frequent opening and closing of the mixer door and the fineness of the material and other factors, the mixer leakage occurs frequently in the feed mill.
So what are the factors that cause the mixer leakage? To solve this problem or should first understand the structure of the discharge door.
When the mixer door, the sealing strip should be close to the discharge door around. The opening and closing of the discharge door is mainly by the cylinder through the linkage mechanism to achieve, (sometimes customised for the electric actuator), the cylinder pressure is large enough otherwise the discharge door can not achieve the effect of sealing, resulting in material leakage.
Mixer leakage is caused by the following factors:
1. Mixing time

2. Mixer residue
Mixer residue refers to the mixer after discharging the material left inside the body of the part not discharged, this part of the material is mainly by the gap between the rotor and the slot and the size of the discharge door to decide, which is mainly dependent on the quality of the manufacturing, overhaul will be more difficult.
